Kairie has always been taught to believe that the moon is something precious. She believed when she was little, that maybe she could hold it, forever. If she was to throw it - as if a baseball - it would only be for a time, until she could put it back into its case again.

That is, until her daughter - Felicia - goes missing.

The search for her daughter places her in a melancholic state. As she fights for the missing piece of her family, others - including Felicia herself - are also being affected by the kidnapping. Everyone is waiting for the day when the McKenzie family can capture their moon.
