Skin Without Freckles

Dominique Weasley had very few traits that would link her to the Weasley family.

Inheriting the silvery hair of her mother, some may see that as a glorious colour, yet she would never be graced with the fiery red tones of her cousins.

When her blood boiled with anger, it didn't rush to her ears, but to the bottom of her cheeks and jaw, mottling her pale skin that didn't even tan in the same ways as that of her other family members.

Yet the loss she felt most keenly was the lack of the freckles that even her brother and sister possessed, leaving her as the only one of all Molly and Arthur's grandchildren to be left with an empty canvas of skin, while all the others were graced with the beauty of constellations lining every inch of their bodies.
