Sierra is only the witch without a name, she's just the side person. She's a shadow. But that's what the SPO want, someone who has no records, someone who cannot be found. After years of living by herself, the young witch is confronted and asked-or really blackmailed- to help track down simple, yet aggressive killer who leaves a string of bodies in his wake. Sierra battles with the police, and yet is drawn towards Hayden, a possible misunderstood and very possibly crazy teenage vampire. But the reason for helping may not be because she simply feels like it, or a little blackmail. Even Felix, the calm and collected angle Felix, may be more sinister than she thinks. She can't help but gravitate towards him, but is soon caught in a web of lies, secrets and death. The only reason she hasn't been killed yet, is she has no identity. But someones working on the inside.
