"What if everything falls apart? What if you become scared of me?" Destiny felt the tears begin to swell in her eyes as she looked away from Matthew.
"I could never be scared of you, I love you," he smiled. She quickly looked up at him quickly confusion plastered on her face. She smiled back at him, the first real smiled in a long time. She took a couple steps backwards and shrugged off her coat letting fall on the ground gently.
"Please don't be afraid," she whispered, suddenly two enormous wings appeared on behind her back. Matthew stumbled backwards until he hit the wall. "Matthew, " she cried as she reached for him, "Please don't be afraid."
"Monster! Help someone please! You're a- a monster!" He yelled hysterically upon seeing her wings.
