That was how long he had spent sacrificing his own happiness for the happiness of the family that didn't think twice before ousting him out of the very place he'd grown up in-- the very place he called home. He had held out hope; desperation to be loved as unconditionally as he'd done all throughout the years. Then came she-- light that had driven away the darkness.
