In the year 2020 Americas crime rates have dropped thanks to The Purge, a 12 hour event in which all crimes are legal. For the Mottson family this seemed like a regular purge, they would put on their high tech security defence systems and watch the events on TV safely inside their mansion. But their night changes a gang of masked teens stalk their house waiting to strike.
