Delilah Rose had to run away from her home and life to be able to take care of a child that the father knows nothing about. Now, almost five years later, Delilah lives with Kaiden, a detective for the Chicago Police Force, who behind closed doors abuses her, las, one night Kaiden takes his anger out on the wrong person, her son, Daniel. Delilah sneaks away to go back to her hometown with the help of people from her past.  She will have to endure great struggles along the way, deal with the fear that Kaiden will drag her back into his clutches, and secrets will be revealed, one way or another.
