Seventeen-year-old Corey Winston has never known the feeling of lack. An only child, Corey is raised in a two-parent suburban home with parents and an extended family who adores him. He's their golden boy, on a trajectory towards inevitable success.
Then he happens upon Destiny; the pretty girl from the other side of town with a charm he can't resist. They cross paths by chance and acquire a lure neither can nor want to deny. Destiny, a big sister to twin brothers, has little parental supervision and Corey is in awe by the level of responsibility she forced to handle. It's not until life becomes too much for her that Corey sees unfamiliar darkness in the girl he's grown to love. Before long, he finds himself caught up in her downward spiral, rapidly moving further and further away from his own destiny.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
