When Kiara lost her brother Kopa, her father never let his guard down. He forbid her of most things, and was often blinded by his responsibilities to remind her why he was doing this to her. As Kiara grew from a cub to a fine lioness, she grew ungrateful and took her life of relaxation and safety for granted. She never though once of the fact that any other lion needed this protection. That being Kovu. A lion who had been taken in by Scar and Zira after Vitani went missing. They raised him as their own, manipulated him into forgetting about his elder sister and sent him after Simba. But as time passed, Kovu abandoned his "parents" and decided to focus on decency. Though Scar and Zira stop at nothing for revenge.

Much time later Vitani is caught to be pregnant by Zira who wasted no time to banish her from the out lands, in her fear of defeat after losing a useful member of her pride she is more persistent on Kovu who soon gives into the manipulation and no longer cares for anything other spilling Simba's blood and hiding from Zira. When escaping Zira's grasp for the day, he is soon caught by the males of the pride after stealing kills, they operate to take his life until he is found by Kiara.

Alternate universe where the lion guard doesn't exist. Kion gets mistreated by his older brother as a cub and fights back with anger and hate, then slowly gets manipulated by Zira and the outlanders. Kiara treats him with respect whist Kopa just teases him and make him feel misrable to the point where he snaps and swears revenge apon him. Simba and Nala are worried about history repeating itself just like Mufasa and Scar. Can Kion change his ways or fall into the dark path?
