Gdy młody Agreste się dowiedział co kombinuje jego ojciec strasznie się buntował i wywracał wszystko co stanęło mu na drodze do góry nogami. Po wielokrotnym tłumaczeniu synowi, że to może być jedyna jego szansa na miłość, Adrien w końcu się zgodził. Wstąpiwszy do rezydencji należącej do uczestników, Agreste potyka się o pewną niewiastę, którą widział już na pokładzie samolotu, czyli Marinette Dupain-Cheng, ciemnowłosą istotkę z fiołkowymi oczami i nieskazitelnie pięknym uśmiechem.
