The royal kingdom of Akiko has a strange rule. The royal Queen, if her husband died, can only rule by herself for one more year, after that year she is sentenced to death. This rule even applies to the queens who don't want to marry. Princess Asuka, the royal heir of King Aiko and Queen Aki, soon find that she needs to take the throne soon. As the princess, suiters are brought to her so she can wed, but she rejects all of them. As the rule states, Princess Asuka, now Queen Asuka, now only has one year left to live. Will she accept her destiny? Will she find a suiter to her liking? Or will she find a way to change her fate in this one year?
