Zander is 13 years old and lives with his mother, father, and little sister May. Zander's childhood started out fun and happy but when he started school Zander started noticing things and realizing that he was different. He started being treated differently because the kids saw him as a freak. Zander didn't understand why him liking girl things and thinking boys were cute and girls were just friends was a problem. So when his family disowns him, his father starts beating him, and an uncle starts raping him... Zander's world takes a tumble. Zander has to deal with bullies at school every day then goes home to a sister that hates him, a father who beats him, and a mother that wants to love him but is suppressed because of her husband.
