It's been three years since the king of spades, Alfred Jones, was crowned as king. Even though he was only sixteen when he was crowned, his entire court urged him to find himself a queen. Of course he ignored them, why would he want to be married so young? But when tension between the kingdom of spades and the kingdom of clubs rises, Alfred decides the kingdom needs Alfred to be a strong leader, and a king is nothing without his queen.

This is my own spin off of the hetalia cardverse. The concept is not mine, the story is. Usually in cardverse Arthur is already ruler, but I'm changing it up a bit for the reason of my ideas. None of the art displayed belongs to me... please credit the original creators.
This is my first fanfiction, so please be easy on me... though feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated. Enjoy the story!

It was a grand scheme, the date would be months before the King's coronation, said King would be under the watch of a trusted captain and second in command, secured from danger of any sort, taken in to see the four Kingdom's to the fullest before there was nothing to see at all. Everything was thought through, until it wasn't, come along a captain with an eye for beauty finding the King at a market during port, and his desire's to have him even if it killed him in the end. Taking the other away for his own amusement, Alfred now held in the other's hands with his fate sealed like a will, unable to find any way out. Unless, there's one way, with the Captain determined to take his heart. But what if there's more after that? The King crowned, now being forced into a loveless marriage with the Queen, and commotion stirring in the King's mind, consumed with guilt and no longer able to remain peaceful with such a living predicament. The Suit War
**This was a Featured Wattpad Story** One, two, three, four; I declare a suit war. In a parallel universe known as Drac, the four kingdoms (called suits) have been at war for centuries. Each suit (Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, and Hearts) is made up of a playing card hierarchy that is ruled by the King, Queen, and Jack, and every subject is born with their suit and number imprinted on the back of their neck. The number (a rounded-up average of their parents' numbers that is between two and ten) is based off their ancestors' loyalty to the Crown. There is, however, one randomly selected person in each suit that is born with an A (the symbol of the Ace) on their neck, making them the societal outcast. It is forbidden for the four aces of Drac to ever come together, because there is a myth that if all four of them join hands, they can set off an explosion that will kill all living beings except for themselves. Regardless, the Ace of Hearts, thirteen-year-old Celia Rumer, decides to try her luck in rallying the aces together after the King of Hearts suddenly commits suicide. Francis and Arthur are blessed with adopting three wonderful kids. Arthur is a young prince of the kingdom of Spade. Entirely fed up with how sheltered and closed off his life is, the prince decides to rebel and leaves the castle. Francis is a young baker who is trying to make an honest living for himself. When they met, they become friends and fall in love while going on an adventure that both longed to have. Long story short, there are a few reasons why this story exists. One, I got back into Hetalia thanks to reading the strips on the United Kingdom brothers and Ireland as well as the Philippines. Two, I forgot how insane England x France is in the series. Friends to enemies to lovers back to friends and then divorced. This is what I love. Lastly, I am purely writing this to get back at Disney. I am annoyed with how they've written certain movies and shows and refuse to even acknowledge what made them great.
