Long ago, when human beings were still hunting with spears and still lived in castles and mud homes, there lived the supernatural. During that time, all creatures that you could possibly think of thrived, from the Fairies, druids and elves in the forests, to the witches, weres and vampires who blended in with the non magic. However, there were two races that all were wary of: The angels up high and the demons down below.

There were three types of half breeds among the angels and demons: the Nephelim, angel and human crossbreeds, the Spawns, which were demon and human...and then there were the Daemons.

Roxas, orphaned from the time he was but a babe, thinks himself wholly human...until the night he isn't. With the Supernatural after him, Roxas has to make a choice. Accept what he is, accept his other, or reject it all? 

The one thing Roxas knows for sure, not everything is as it appears.

As David's eyes went from me, to Verity, filled with concern. David looked over my head at Verity while he was holding my hands in his. I heard the crowd gasp, before everyone started to whisper. David dropped my hands. The whispers increased in intensity. Making the room sound like it was full of hissing snakes. David's attention wasn't anywhere near me. I looked up to see him looking over my head at my brother. With a look I had thought he had saved just for me, my heart breaking as my fairy tale became a nightmare. Part 2 also complete July 2023.

The Houses that protected them are crumbling, falling into ruin as their members were culled down by angels and demons, as well as their own mad quest to save the world; the Pilgrimage, a vain attempt to steal into Eden and murder God himself.
