"911 What's your emergency?" I heard a man on the other end say, like he was a robot.
"Someone just broke into my house, I can hear crashes coming from downstairs!" I whispered fear in my voice.
"OK, ............." I didn't hear anything.
Shit! My phone died! I'm in my attic, it's well hidden in my bedroom of the 3 story house, it's in my closet.
