Everything, from the biggest creature ever to roam the land to the tiniest organism ever to exist, had a beginning. But everything also has an end, and no matter how eternal some things may seem, even things that seem immortal will end eventually. Like me; I was one of the few individuals to simply just fade into a forgotten nothingness. Time than began to pass without my presence, and as more time went on, the remnants of myself and my actions vanished completely. Nothing was left to tell the next generation of what happened; no ancient tales, no carvings, nothing to tell them what had happened before. So, that is why I am here, leaving just one piece of me so others can remember what we did. What I did. (Credit to Beautiful_Liar for the cover!)

Moth

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago. The dance has died. The world has fallen still. We float through the heavens, one half always in light, one half always in shadow. Like the moth of our forests, one wing white and the other black, we are torn. My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark. I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.
