'I don't recall how I got to that place...' Night woke up one night in the arms of a beautiful stranger. He was covered in blood. Had no idea who he was or how he had gotten there. 'I should be careful of this person.....' The strange beautiful man scares Night, presumably believing him a girl, and night flees, forcing to face his new nature on his own. Five years have passed since that strange night.

I wake up in a hotel room somebodys arms wrapped around me. I hear the shower running and somebody talking. The person with their arms wrapped around me pulls me closer. I flip around to look at him and I can't believe who I am looking at.. It wasn't a dream.

I've always believed that dreams are just that, dreams. Things you imagine when you stay up late, your mind lost in a concert of your favorite artists or on the stage of a Broadway musical. "Please wake up." I said as I held his hand. I looked for any sign of response; a movement beneath an eyelid, a twitch of a finger. Nothing. He was just... blank. I felt the tears come. I played with his hand in mine; traced invisible messages in his palm with my finger, hoping just maybe he'd magically be able to get them. Tears started falling down my cheeks. I held his hand gently against my lips. Tears dropped on his fingers until they were as wet as my eyes. I rested my head on his limp hand. "I told you I needed you to stay."
