Meet Quinn. She's your normal pizza-eating, movie-watching, cat-loving high school girl with a few sharp edges here and there. Born to successful business-people, Quinn is a little-bit-spoiled, but with her parents all over the world, she knows not to take things for granted, and she knows how to take care of herself. A superstitious girl, Quinn knows not to mess with luck or Karma, and she's not afraid to stand up to anyone in her way of fate. 'Miss Independent,' is what the world calls her. She needs nobody but herself.

But inseparable since middle school, Jack is the only person who seems to have stuck around long enough to know the real Quinn. Sometimes she swears he knows her better than her own parents do.

So it could be seen as only natural for an attraction to start growing between the two. But when summer ends and Junior year starts, and the new boy in town sweeps Quinn off of her feet, she's completely oblivious to a jealous best friend. She soon finds herself stuck between a new love and an old love, and as tensions start to rise, walls begin to build, and secrets begin to whisper, Quinn learns that she can't have it all... if she doesn't want to lose everything.
