Azurite Court was neutral territory.
Anything serious that happened in Azurite Court was handled by all five courts - Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst, and Emerald. It was only there that everyone was equal in power and authority.
But the truth is, no one is ever equal in power and authority.

"Then why are you even here?" Frost was now circulating in his system and Jasper did his best not to let the icy rage cloud his judgment. Anger, while useful at times, was a stupid emotion to rely on.

"And that gives you a right to establish your claim on her?" Jasper sarcastically said. "Just because you're 'first'? She's not a game or a prize to be won."
"Then don't take me on."
