It is the ending of junior year and summer break has begun. Laina and her friends decides to take a little road trip up north for a little celebration of their school year survival. She soon finds out that her older brother is leaving to another state which appears to be on the same day she is leaving. She won't see him for at least a year and she wants to be there when he leaves so she compromises and decides that she will drive by herself after she's done saying her farewell to her brother. What happens when say gives a ride to a familiar stranger? Well...they get trapped in the middle of nowhere. Literally. With nothing but a cellphone with no bars and a bag stuffed with clothes, what is Laina and this stranger going to do? Where will they end up?

Adventures in Cat-Napping
Three days, two perfect strangers and one missing cat. To Nora and Ali, it's their situation but to anyone else who knows the pair, it's a recipe for disaster. *** Nora and Ali do not know one another. In fact, their exchanges had been minimal until one day Ali entered the local halal chicken takeaway, demanding Nora's attention. And her help. Only, she doesn't have any knowledge or expertise on the matter, and really, just wants to put this situation behind her. Forced on a journey to Scotland, Ali and Nora have no choice but to work together to find Billy...and quite possibly steal him back. "I just realised something." I say, breaking the long silence from the journey. "I'm not gonna be too sad if we don't end up finding her." I speak looking straight ahead as I drive down the road, a million thoughts running through my head. I continue, "Maybe cause to travel is better than to arrive.
