Yggdrasil, the biggest VRMMORPG alive is coming to an end. But you know this, it's why you're here. What you don't know is that while it shaped the gaming world, it had a great competitor. In the early 2000's Bandai Namco and Fromsoftware made the Darksouls games. These would come to define the word 'Difficult' for many players. And so the call for these games to come to VR grew and the wish of thousands was granted. Although it changed somewhat, the combat, lore, level system and mechanics stayed the same mostly, it became more of a MMO. But that game is coming to an end as well, many groups were made, many kingdoms rose and fell, but it's ending with many loyal players staying online one last time, killing, fighting, losing and praising the sun for just a few more hours. But we follow the story of one in particular. The last Lord, master of the four great souls, the only player to take the fire and keep it without death.
So prepare yourself Ains, prepare Nazarick and it's creations.
So prepare yourself new world, Prepare your countries and monsters.

When a group of friends logs into Paimyra-a mysterious new virtual reality game-they expect epic battles, rare loot, and an escape from their daily lives. But instead, they awaken trapped in a world where the only rule is survive. What begins as thrilling escapism quickly spirals into a deadly reality: monsters stalk the shadows, player-killers roam free, and the very game they loved begins to consume them. Bound by blood and brotherhood, the group must navigate shifting alliances, forbidden magic, and brutal trials as they ascend the game's 100 cursed floors. But Paimyra is no ordinary game. And the Divine Tree at its heart is no mere logout mechanism. It is a prison. A living curse. A judge of souls. Every floor conquered isn't just a step toward freedom-it's a test, peeling back the layers of who they were, and forcing them to confront what they're becoming. For one player-Gintorro, a beta tester with a forgotten past-the climb is more than survival. He is the Warden of Paimyra, chosen not to escape, but to decide its fate. Restore the world, or burn it down. Free the bound souls, or join them. Inspired by Sword Art Online, Bleach, One Piece, and Elden Ring, The Divine Tree is a dark fantasy epic filled with brutal combat, unraveling mysteries, and emotional bonds that will be tested at every level. Are you ready to enter the game? Break the curse. Become legend. Even if it means never returning home. 69 parts Complete

"I think, therefore I am. Nothing will stop me in my tracks. I will be the best... and prove that I am not strong just because of my blood, but because of who I am. My sword shall draw the names of my enemies in their own blood. The stadiums I saw built as a kid, will all rise up for me. One day, the Agaphian flag will honor me, not because I am the son of their legend, but rather a legend of my own." ================= Godseeker Artorius, the legendary war hero of the Agaphian federation, sought the sacred city of Cinderyn beyond the treacherous, blizzarding Silverstone Heights of Paterium. When he lost his life in that expedition, his son, Lucius seeks to succeed his late father in this arduous quest. He himself claims he feels nothing, struggling to understand emotions, apart from his unwavering resolve to seek strength and prestige that would surpass his father. Driven solely by ego, he believe he will be the best, therefore he truly will be. Yet that resolve was never invincible... A collective organization of bandits terrorizes Paterium, stealing not only bountiful harvests and carriages of gold, but lives of the people within this land. It is a golden opportunity to become a warrior like his father, but also the hero his father never was, and free himself from the bondage of the past.
