"It was a normal summer day, everyone was out having late graduation parties and kick-backs for their friends and families. Nobody knew what was going on until they sent out an emergency warning signal as they do to all T.Vs and radios. There was not one soul who paid attention to the this broadcast. Until, the sky turned black, and everyone fell silent and confused, the lights flickered, cars stopped; shutting down in the place where they were deserting many people in the roads. All electricity just shut down in a matter of seconds. The towns people left their homes and looked up at what blackened the once beautiful sky.."

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. A New Found Humanity (RE: 3 Remake Book) (COMPLETED)
If you couldn't tell already, this is a story about Resident Evil 3. I'm taking everything only from the remake of 2020. I thought of this idea when watching Jacksepticeye's playthrough, so I'll be taking from his gameplay and spinning the story on its head. I do recommend watching or playing the game for yourself before reading this. It'll really make sense if you do. Just a fair warning, this will have graphic content and violent words. And now, here's the description. You, 14 year old Y/N were raised in Raccoon City. A city were you made and lost friends and family. A city that you felt alone in. A city that has now been overrun by deadly creatures. You only knew that this could be Umbrella's doing given their experiments were so secluded from the public when everything they tell you is "Everything is fine if you listen to us." Their earth that was once in a solar peril has somehow been salvaged and mysteriously replenished like new. Waking up with his girlfriend and sister by his side, Harvey journeys his way to the Mayan pyramids that are rumored to still be standing and birthing society. Hoping to reach loved ones in an already established city, they navigate through the forested jungles to realize this is not the earth they once knew and loved. Rebellious groups take upon themselves to rewrite the rules of the world as the gathering of man does not always fall on stable minds. With the help of friends and discovered life forms along the way, Harvey begins to understand why exactly their planet was salvaged. Making sense of the insensible, their adventures show evidence of not only the altered biology of earth, but also that of mankind... Bearth is 92,440 words of pure imagination and has been entertainingly my first novel ever attempted. The Virus Within (Original rough draft)
Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Complete

It was a bright, summer day. Mr. and Mrs. Evans were both in the hospital, ready to give birth. But they were really scared. It's their first child so Mrs. Evans was really afraid of how it might go. What if it hurts?" She asked questions so quickly that Mr. Evans doesn't even have time to answer any of them. "The baby will be fine. Don't worry. It won't hurt as well. It'll be over before you even know it." But no matter what he said, she was shaking with fear and panic. The doctor came towards them. "Do we have a name for her?" She asks as they wait for a contraction. Mr. Evans looked between the doctor and his wife before answering, "Actually, we haven't-" "Hope" Mrs. Evans looked up at him, smiling. "Hope Evans." ~~*~~ Hope Evans lost more in her life at such a young age. She lost every dream she has ever had, lost everything she held dearly and she lost everyone she ever loved.
