Until she meets Mason Carter, her mysterious classmate, in a jail cell. He's ambitious, hot-headed, and believes in only living in the moment and of course, without any rules but his own. He is undeniably intrigued by her, knowing there is much more to her than what meets the eye.
To Rebecca everything seems possible with him, and after living a life full of rules, regulations, and expectations, his carefreeness brings out a new side of her. One that leads the two of them to an adventure of a lifetime. An adventure that takes them across the world: the only goal is to try to find themselves with the little time they have before it falls apart, and the only problem is Rebecca's parents and their attempts to do much worse than bring her home.

It shocks Julian to a pause, here he was sitting idly to a girl kissing him suddenly. Julian ponders on it, but then finds out that the kiss wasn't meant to be anything. Told from a first-person point-of-view, it goes into detail about the thought processes of a young man who has everything to lose. The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Complete
