Meet Elizabeth Garcia, or Liza. Liza is 16, a junior and is family to a sister, Isabel. But them two are also daughters to Alanna Garcia; a cruel drug addict mother who just stopped loving ever since a sad time right after their father, Greg has passed away on the battlefield.
Liza is not a popular or a loner at Gadsden High. Instead, she is in between. Everybody knows her but not everybody likes her. She has an idiotic, gorgeous best friend, Kayla Marienne. Kayla is 17, she was retained in 7th grade so she is up to 11th grade.
One day, Liza gets stuck with, Dylan Hayden. He is the schools most best basketball player, arrogant but wise (well it's what the teachers and students say)
Them two get partnered up on an art project but they got different ideas to what they want to create. From a girl trapped inside a bird cage to a multi-emotional earth. Causing a "pointless" argument between the two
But what comes result is when them two form a special bond while working together, but causes drama between the high school's volleyball captain, Gabriella Taylor.
Even though, she and Liza had a short friendship.
She can be a nice pretty girl who gets good grades. But in reality she is an ugly brat who starts rumours and "always" gets what she wants.
Sometimes you have to learn to love, to find the ones who you realized, had hid love from you.

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
