Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D., is interested in the infamous Amber Black in his hunt to assemble a team with abilities like no others to help protect the world. Being a hitwoman is not something someone would expect under a profile of an Avenger, but when a world-threatening event is on the horizon, everything goes. And when a certain Asgardian god of mischief shows up and she's assigned to interrogate him, chaos ensues and...well, there's a reason they say there ain't no rest for the wicked.

Amber stopped stirring the pasta she was in the midst of making, took the spoon out, and placed it ever-so-gently on the stovetop. She slowly turned around to face the furious Asgardian, slightly ticked off herself.
"We're back to this? Really? Can't get past your ego for one goddamn second, huh?"
"I don't think my ego is the problem here, Black."

I am not a villain, neither a hero even though I fight with hero's. I mostly of the time help the good side, if there's something in it for me. I don't see myself helping the bad side, even though that might happen. A part of the Avengers doesn't like me that much, so I get a lot of pissed off faces, sighs or 'shut up's'. Maybe it doesn't help that I walk through alleyways a lot at the time around midnight. Maybe it doesn't help that I'm willing to sacrifice people to catch the person that I want to catch. But I'm helping with a reason. Nick Fury saw that I am a good fighter and willing to help. Some of the Avengers also do, some do not. But they will like me, I mean, they have to. Ana Barton, was the most purest souls Thor had ever encountered. She was strong willed, smart, brave and compassionate. Though he had only known her a few days, during the battle with Loki, he found that she had completely entranced him. Ana didn't know who she was before Clint had found her and saved her. She idolised him, and followed in his footsteps, becoming an agent of SHIELD. Her life takes a complete turn, when she finds herself taken after the battle. ***** When he had returned to Midgard, Earth a few years later, with a reformed Loki, he finds that she had been missing and presumed dead almost as long as he had been gone. When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him. The only comfort she finds is in his brother and the metal armed soldier, needing them both to protect her. ***** Being in a new place, surrounded by so many people, she felt overwhelmed, terrified that they would hurt her like the others. She feels her wrists are now free, and that power within her, was now accessible again. Cue the "Underground" TikTok audio from Cody Fry. Imagine this: You're Nat's sister and go with her and Clint to Vormir. You learn that a sacrifice has to be made in order to retrieve the Soul Stone. "Whatever it takes..." you whisper. Clint and Nat start fighting. As they fight, you run towards the edge. You jump. You hear Nat and Clint's screams as it feels like you're falling in slow motion. Everything goes black as you hit the ground. You wake up and see a hand outstretched towards you. You look up and see Pietro standing there, a smile on his face. You're home. But... before we can get there, we must start at the beginning. To be honest, I thought my fic writing phase was over. I grieved Natasha, I said hello to Yelena, I checked in on Wanda.
