Your feet pounded the hard asphalt to the rhythm of your racing heartbeat, the echo of boots behind you closing in.
You've been running all of your life... for as long as you care to remember.
You were exhausted and angry at how this world how treated you. It was over, finished! You were done with running.
As you stopped and turned to face your attacker, determination piercing your features, you realized your actions meant certain death for yourself.
