[NOT COMPLETED, AM WORKING ON IT] When you're a raging homosexual stuck in a predominately white Christian community, finding acceptance can be a tedious task. Justin Hobbs is living a lie, and hiding the truth from the people around him is becoming harder and harder each day. He's regarded as the school's typical loner, and in some ways he is. Used to having a quiet life, he's lost when his hushed lifestyle suddenly disappears. But, Justin finds he doesn't miss the quiet as much as he thought. Erik Carron is a leader of the school's biggest committee, but he isn't all that he appears. He keeps up the perfect façade, and is relieved to know that no one has seen past it. Little does he know, Justin is seeing the cracks in his mask, and soon, he'll see what truly lies beneath. The struggle of finding acceptance is as hard they thought, but learning to love themselves is harder than anything. This is a journey of self-acceptance, secrets, hiding, and finally revealing ones true self.

Jesse's life turns upside down once the football player from his school finds out he's gay. Because of that he has to obey to jock's every command or else his secret will be revealed to everyone. Jesse already had a hard enough life because of his alcoholic father and insensitive mother and this made things even more complicated. Not to mention the fact that he was living in a pretty homophobic environment and for his own safety he had to hide his true identity. Will Jesse be able to overcome this challenge? You'll have to read more to find out. *DISCLAIMER - Story contains themes that some readers may consider disturbing such as suicide, homophobia, violence and more. If you're easily triggered by the things mentioned above this content may not be right for you. Ps. This is a first draft of the book. You can find the polished version of this story here by a different title (Melancholic.) It is also uploaded on DREAME and Inkitt. I'd recommend checking that out because it has less errors, a few changes and some added scenes.
