This book follows the lives of Sophia Baker and Peter Canon who due to a one-night stand, their ends meet up in high school. Sophia is the principal's "perfect" daughter, or so that's what everyone's brainwashed to think when she's living in an apartment with her best friend because she was kicked out of her own family's house. Behind the scenes, life's been dragging her down hill from then on. Peter Canon is the guy everyone feels sorry for because he won't let his heart find love again after a broken heart. Living in a small house with his single mother and little brother, he's living a simple life and he's happy with that. So when these two worlds collide, will Peter let his heart open to love? And will Sophia disobey her father's expectations?

Some get captured on tape, some people tell them as stories that get passed down for years. Some odd things remain silent, floating between the people it happened to, untold and unshared. Some remain untold because they have been forgotten, left behind or replaced. While others are pushed away because of embarrassment or fear. And some don't wish to be shared. This one story is not just one odd thing, it's so many odd things, all rolled into one odd occurrence. Of one girl, one friend, one cousin, one group of prestigious girls, a secret and several suspects. Annabel never expected it to go so out of control, but how can she stop it, except pushing it away, forgetting it and lying to get it all out of her life? Annabel moves on, hoping to never think of it again. But this odd occurrence is determined not to be forgotten and once again forces itself into her life. She must lie left and right to avoid it. But is that what she really wants?
