A choose your own adventure story set during World War 2.
You find yourself as a prisoner working on the Thai-Burma Railway. Here you're confronted by death, hope, hopelessness and the ability of choice.
It's a relatively short read with the options of four (4) different endings.

You stare up at the darkened sky, a few stars shimmer above brightly and unaware of the horrors which surround you. They seem so beautiful, so peaceful and yet so out of place. You watch as the surrounding clouds slowly start to cover the shimmering stars and decide instead, to look out into the shadowed jungle ahead. Past the guards and fellow prisoners, you watch the dark jungle sway lightly.
It's impossible to know whether you would survive out there.
It's impossible to know whether you would survive in here either.
But you know one thing you're certain of...
You'd rather die free...

When the Girl alights at her destination, the boy is shocked to learn from his new fellow traveller that the young girl was as blind as the Boy himself. But he already fell in love with her but didn't know her, see her, don't know anything about the except her name. Now what Will happened, did the boy will be able to find her. Little did they know the supposedly tiring-but-fun getaway would turn into one hell of catastrophe. Sun is a common young man, with a disabled father, a lovely mother, and three siblings he loves above all. He is hard-working and tries his best to help his family repay the debts his father accumulates. But this is never enough, and one day the debt collectors come to sack his mother's restaurant, hurting his mother and sending his father into a coma. Fortunately he meets Talay, a street hero rescuing victims of gangs and who saved his sister from such, and Talay quickly becomes his support through all the blows life sends at him. Until that one day, when the restaurant catches fire, with his little brother inside... ******* This was written as a #NaNoWriMo July camp story, decided on a whimp on the 1st of July, because a friend joined. I set the goal to 25,000 words, and told myself I'd write it during my 2 weeks holidays. Turned out 25,000 words weren't enough for the story I wanted to write, so I added 25,000 more: and this is Book 2. I want to write more chapters, but I had decided to keep to this word count, so, so be it. Also, this Wattpad version won't be exactly 25,000 words, because I'm unsure about Wattpad policy, so I auto-censured and cut out the NC scenes (they're part of Sun and Sea story, it hurts a lot... While it is far from easy Taylor surprises everyone by how well he comes to terms with his punishment and makes the best of it NOTE- This isn't going to be a story with a lot of violence, punishment fantasies or BDSM or anything. I have that in some of my other stories. I've decided to do something different here. When people get sent to prison the loss of freedom is the point of the punishment, not to be sent there to be punished more, to be sent to stay in a building and not allowed to leave is the main point.And not to leave ever until death is very tough. How does a young man come to terms with such a thing? Boredom is also a big part of prison so how will Taylor keep himself busy and fill the time?
