A choose your own adventure story set during World War 2.
You find yourself as a prisoner working on the Thai-Burma Railway. Here you're confronted by death, hope, hopelessness and the ability of choice.

It's a relatively short read with the options of four (4) different endings.

----
You stare up at the darkened sky, a few stars shimmer above brightly and unaware of the horrors which surround you. They seem so beautiful, so peaceful and yet so out of place. You watch as the surrounding clouds slowly start to cover the shimmering stars and decide instead, to look out into the shadowed jungle ahead. Past the guards and fellow prisoners, you watch the dark jungle sway lightly.
It's impossible to know whether you would survive out there.
It's impossible to know whether you would survive in here either.
But you know one thing you're certain of...
You'd rather die free...

She wanted to die. He wanted to live. ••• A hand grabbed onto my wrist, yanking me back just as the train rushed past, before I'd even had time to comprehend whether or not I'd carry out the action. I stumbled back into the person's chest, my heart jumping out as I swivelled around, startled to find myself staring into piercing dark brown eyes. "Were you going to jump?!" "No," I drawled out sarcastically, ignoring the intensity of his eyes as they bore into my own, "I just stand on the edge of train platforms at midnight because I feel like it." Seeing the stranger tense, I stepped away from the edge, feeling his hand let go of mine as I picked up my bag before moving to sit down on one of the platform benches. Letting out an evident sigh of relief, he sat down after tentative movements towards me, and I could feel his intense gaze raking across my features. His eyes never left me, I was sure of it, with every step both he and I had taken. "Are you okay?" He had asked warily, apparent apprehension in his deep voice while he spoke, "Do you want to talk about it?" "What's there to talk about?" I threw his question back at him, watching him study me for a few critical moments before his potent gaze switched to our surroundings. "I did just watch you nearly kill yourself; that might be a place to start?" ••• She didn't expect for a complete stranger to stop her milliseconds away from committing suicide. She didn't expect him to be so kindhearted and patient. He didn't expect to stop her from jumping in front of a train the first time they met. He didn't expect to find himself falling for the one girl he knew he shouldn't. [Word Count: 180,000 - 200,000]

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

[COMPLETED] Four Pillars of GMM: Krist-Singto, Off-Gun, Tay-New, Bright-Win on their 2-weeks LOL workshop. Little did they know the supposedly tiring-but-fun getaway would turn into one hell of catastrophe. (Chiang Mai, early 2021) "You might think it's lonely up here, but the truth is it's so loud I can't hear my own voice. So crowded that I got lost." "You define your own truth. In your own way. In your own time." "I worked so hard to be where I am now, but I never thought that losing myself is the price I have to pay." "But feelings are never black and white. They're grey. They're all kinds of grey." This is a sometimes fluff, sometimes angst AU of GMMTV's BL all stars. Kinda like I'm Tee, Me Too with the full member of Four Pillars. Be warned: I use some swearings. Light angst. The mention of childhood traumas as well as several mental illnesses. And if you expect a happily ever after (i.e., ending up as couple) then this fanfiction might not be the one for you. P.S.: I am a Babii though, so excuse me if I play favorite 🥲🔫 Disclaimer: I do not own any of the pictures. Credit to the owner.
