Anger glittered through his beautiful blue eyes as I regretted the words that had just left my lips. I desperately reached for his hands, but he yanked them away. "Don't." Then he was gone, storming his way to my back door and across the yard to his truck. Panicking, I hurried after him. "Please wait, Jackson I-" I pulled on his arm, causing him to spin around. "You what?" He narrowed my eyes on me, a hard look on his face, one I hadn't seen since...that night. "Please...just don't go," I whispered. "And why shouldn't I?" He questioned, sending me another cold glare. "Because...I need you."
