Sadly, I know what today's gossip will include; me. With each step I took in the direction to my locker, I spotted the stares. Fellow classmates whispering as they made eye contact with me. Not ashamed, nor private about the faint news passed from a mouth to their friends ear. I figured the safest way to look is down. Not seeing where I'm going could lead to a collision in the corridor. I kept my head high, my eyes wandering but I swallowed trying to make the lump in my throat decrease. Inhaling deeply, I relaxed a little. 'So what if they knew. It's not like I care. What's the worst that could happen?' I thought to myself.

Look at me, not too close, though, just from the outside. What do you see? A smile? Friends? Happiness? Joy? Everything that I could ever want? A perfect life, if you wanted to go that far. Now, look a bit closer. See those bags under my eyes? Hear the pain in my voice? The fatigue in my movements? Cautious glances, fearful expressions, the flinches at the slightest touch? Do you see that? Well, ignore it. Because, Fuckboys Are Fine. ------------- WARNING: This story contains some mature themes and triggering topics, please read at your own risk.
