Phantoms {Dark Harry Styles}

{ I studied him carefully, as he leaned against the counter with his back towards me. The words that had left his lips moments before fresh in my mind.  The muscles in his back tensed as I took a step closer to him, turning his head to the side slightly to see me.        

"If you're going to try to comfort me, don't bother. I don't need your pity," he spat bitterly. "I don't need anyone's pity." He eventually turned all the way around, brushing past me and walking through the kitchen door. I was froze to my spot in the middle of the kitchen, dazed by his revelations. }
