This story begins in December of 1987. Rory is 3 years old and living in Hartford with Lorelai. They never moved to Stars Hollow. Instead they lived with the Gilmores until Lorelai graduated from high school. After that Lorelai got a job and with some help from her parents, got her own place in Hartford. This is what their lives might have looked like if Lorelai never moved to Stars Hollow.

Sixteen months after turning down Logan's marriage proposal, Rory unexpectedly runs into Finn Morgan while on the campaign trail, and she has no idea that Finn has always had a soft spot for her. Will his affections remain hidden? Will she finally be over Logan and ready to move on? And if so, how will Logan react to his best friend's relationship with the one who got away? PDLD

This story is written as if seasons 5-7 and AYITL didn't happen the way they did on the show. I do not own the rights to the characters in this story only the ones I came up with. Are they still running into obstacles? Can Rory save Logan from a life of unhappiness? I thought they had a real love in the series and wanted to finish their story. I didn't like most of the AYITL series, (except Fall) especially how Rory was portrayed. I have put this story out as my version. I think we all should be thankful to Amy Sherman Palladino and Dan Palladino for their wonderful characters and, of course, I don't own these characters.
