You all ended up somehow becoming the Paladins of Voltron, so you knew the fate of the universe was in your hands. It was time for you and the team, especially you and Keith, to step up and overcome your conflicts and start to become proper teammates, or perhaps more. or A story in which Keith Kogane and (Y/N), old classmates, meet again on a fateful night on a rescue mission for Shiro. Except that Keith now hates (Y/N)'s guts. What happened and how will that affect the Team of Voltron? As a brand new paladin of Voltron and brave defender of the universe, Keith's life had changed drastically. Stumbling across the blue lion was enough to turn his entire life upside down, especially since it removed all familiarity and routine from his life. All he wants to do is find a secure routine and stick to it to avoid all chances of having a meltdown. Surrounded by new people and keeping a large fraction of himself secret from his new team, Keith needs to figure out how to get by. That's proven difficult when he encounters his first obstacle: space goo. The texture was all gooey and sticky; it stuck to Keith's teeth in a way that had him picking it out for hours. He hated it. Lol, first Klance! Hope you all enjoy! Keith has been haunted since he fought with the Druid. His hand... It just healed... That wasn't a normal thing. Then Zarkon... The emperor told Keith he fought similar to his Galran soldiers. That had honestly scared him. So when the paladins are reunited after being spread throughout space, he tries to hide his insecurities and fears and pain. However, he can't hide it for long. She's the last of her kind to survive the operations that the Galra have put her and her race through. She is their weapon that will be used against Voltron, only if they get under control. That's proven a lot more harder. When the Paladins of Voltron attack a Galra Base that set its home on a planet they find that everything is deserted. Keith is under the impression he's not wanted, so it only makes sense to him that, should the situation arise, he would be the better candidate for being sent god-knows-where by a wormhole aimed directly at Voltron- the team, well... the team just wants Keith back. or Keith Self-Sacrifice Kogane lands himself on a hostile alien planet and finds himself in the hands of merciless alien researchers who don't fully understand the concept of pain, nor the concept of humans. And they want to know more. The question is, can the paladins find their missing friend before it's too late, or will their duties as Defenders of the Universe sidetrack them enough that Keith is pushed to the backs of their minds?
