**Prequel to "A Child's Reality"**
Garfield Logan and Raven Roth were best friends in elementary school. They spent pretty much every day together, day in and day out.
Raven was bright, happy, and hated seeing sadness.
Gar was the class clown, cracking jokes and putting smiles on people's faces.
They were thought to be inseparable.
But when Gar's parents die he has to go live with his aunt and uncle in a different state and they got separated. They promised they would see each other again and that they would never change.
Many years later his Aunt and Uncle miraculously won the lottery and gave Gar a choice on what they should do with it. He chose to move back. Gar's number one goal was to find Raven. Now in highschool, Gar finds out that Raven broke her promise.

Five years after Beast Boy found Terra again the Teen Titans have disbanded. Robin was a large part of the disbandment and went on to work with Batman as Nightwing. Starfire became the face of a superhero magazine while continuing hero work and Cyborg joined the Justice League. Beast Boy... He left soon after finding Terra again. Heart broken and constant ridicule from Robin due to poor performance drove him to run away and not be seen again. Raven left the hero life behind her and lives a normal life working at a small bookstore. However, her life still haunts her. Raven's life takes another turn when Beast Boy comes back and a new enemy reveals themselves. This work is essentially a rough draft and will be revamped intermittently.
