Kadan, the Sten of a qunari commando unit, visits Tevinter in the hopes of the country's leaders surrendering to the qunari peacefully. Naturally, the magically dominated country refuses, and the war begins. However, while this battle wages, the very sky is torn in two and Kadan is forced to retreat from Tevinter and find out the source of this corruption.

Following a lot of the Dragon Age game series storyline by Bioware but with a twist... A young Dalish girl's clan is slaughtered by Tevinter mages but they take the girl as a slave and burns Lyrium into her skin. (Yes, like a certain angsty porcupine we know.) Before the girl is taken to Tevinter she over powers the mages with her new abilities and is found by a group of Templars. Not knowing what to do with the girl they take her back to the Ferelden Circle of Magi where she later on meets the Grey Warden... She's bi so she'll blush at anyone who flirts with her, like most of Dragon Age characters. Her romance won't happen until Veilguard. I originally started writing this to help get Dragon Age out of my system but it's starting to make my love for it grow stronger and I wish to share it with others. I'm open to any lore corrections. I unfortunately don't have any of the books so some of the lore may be lost to me but I'll try my best with the knowledge I've gained from the games, series and movie. I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I'm trying to keep the word count per chapter at 2000 but I can't always divide the chapters smoothly so there may be some parts with 3000 to 7000 words. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters.
