"I'm done." He turned and stormed out the door.
"Please don't go!" She called after him, racing out into the rain. "Taylor, please!"
He turned, staring at her coldly. "I can't stay, Laurel, you know that. Not after what you've done."
"Taylor, please," she begged, sinking to her knees in the mud. "Why are you doing this?"
"You know very well why," he yelled over his shoulder as he walked away, leaving her sobbing in the rain.
