Lucriana Marie Reynares, better known as Crim, and Claud Riley Velasco were once part of the same friend group in high school, close enough to recognize each other, but never enough to truly understand.
Years later, college leaves them with no choice but to stay side by side.
Crim hates change. She hates meeting new people, hates starting over. Claud is the opposite kind of difficult; quiet, distant, and almost impossible to get close to. So instead of reaching out, they settle into what's familiar.
Each other.
What starts as convenience slowly turns into something deeper. In shared spaces and quiet moments, they begin to uncover the things they never said before; the untold stories, the past they never dared to revisit.
And somewhere along the way, they find themselves continuing something Crim once believed was only paused when they drifted apart after high school.
A slow burn neither of them names.
Until one night changes everything.
A drunken blur.
Lowered walls.
A moment that shouldn't have mattered but did.
Because that night, Crim asks for something strange, impulsive, and impossible to take back as a birthday gift:
Claud's frozen cell.
And just like that, the quiet connection they built begins to shift into something neither of them fully understands - where curiosity, emotion, and consequence start to collide.
