The last living member of the Silverwing family, Taran Silverwing, born in the United States, finds out about his family history as hero's and is longing to be like them, but soon finds out how truly evil the family name was. 

Not long after his discovery, Taran is confronted by his fiancé about opening a the family chest, and how it was dangerously overlooked, suddenly someone knocks on the front door, only to start shooting at the hinges of the door.

Taran and his fiancé Taylor, find they're way into hiding and arming they're selves in the master bedroom of their home, locking down the room, and hoping for the best...
