Hermione Granger was always the brunt of a certain Slytherin's jokes, but now that their lives have been completely turned around the joke's on him.
After the Wizarding War that the Golden Trio were so famously a part of, Hermione received an order of Merlin, first class, for her services, and a spot high up on the Ministry scale. Draco on the other hand, lost all of his wealth to the Ministry of Magic, his father to Azkaban and his mother to depression.
What will happen when the Slytherin boy that Hermione was so against needs her help to get back on track with life? Will she help him or leave him to suffer from every bad thing that he did to her?
