Imagine that you're playing a game. It's a dangerous game, but then again, what game isn't dangerous. You live in an apartment with about 5000 other people. It's a really wide building so it only goes up about 50 floors (100 accommodations per floor). In your building you can't trust anyone. There's a new person dying every other week and you can tell that at some point you will be targeted. It's kill or be killed. You kill to survive. There's no other way to earn money than to kill. And if you don't earn money, you can't pay rent. And if you can't pay rent, you're as good as dead. In fact, you're worse than dead. And now you're asking "what type of psychotic person would call this a game?" And I will give you an answer. The Landlord would.

I fall to the floor, but with enough concentration I manage to stand. "Why are you doing this?" I hiss, struggling to keep my balance. "Most people think the most important piece on the chess board is the king, or the queen or the rook; some even think it's the bishop." "You killed him, didn't you?" "I like to think it's the pawn." He taunts, coming to stand in front of me. "Underestimated and yet the most dangerous...with a little patience it can become anything. Quite interesting, don't you think?" "I'm not in the mood for your little mind games." "Will you do as you're fucking told or are we going to have a problem?" He asks with barely restrained fury, his eyes holding mine captive, making it clear that I'm supposed to give him an answer. "I guess we're gonna have a problem."
