Emerson Richards is the girl that picks up the pieces when someone is feeling down. The one that manages to make everyone else feel 50% better with her loyal spirit and kind personality. However, people deem her to be the "supporting character" of the lives of the people she loves, like her sister and her best friend; however, she seems to be completely fine with that.

Emerson has the struggles that every teenager faces at least once in their life: anxiety, unrequited love, stress, the pressure from parents, and the hope of finding their sole purpose of living.
