Prologue

“I love to paint. I have the ability of it. But it seems that people don’t appreciate my work, even my family. They commented my masterpieces as crap, rubbish, lifeless and fuzzy. They give me this daunting looks like I will never attain everything not until I used a new method of canvas. Heh! Oh, and they love it, the fresh blood that I used from my victims and the souls that trap inside my magnum opus. No one will scornfully criticize my work. No one! I will be the best! I will kill anyone as I like for the name of art! It makes me rich. It fills my empty soul. And it gives me thrill!!”- Leonardo Rucci

Leonardo or Leo is an aspiring artist who has a great love for art. He’s works are simple, not an exemplary one. People judge his paintings as junk. They think he can’t paint. He doesn’t have the skills on it. He was thwarted to hear their mocks. But his friend Gareth, who always supports and encourages him, is the only one who appreciated his paintings. Hungry for adoration, he turned to ask help from the devil and he’s wished granted. In exchange of his soul is the fame of his splendid art! Can Gareth take back the soul of Leo from the devil and save his friend or can he be Leo’s another masterwork?
