After months of trying to gain custody of her younger sister after the death of their mother the court has decided Clair Price isn't in the right financial standing to be a parent to her twelve-year-old sister Genevieve. The judge presiding over the case is however willing to give Clair a chance at gaining sole custody if she can keep a stable job and graduate law school within the time of the annual review next year. All of that wouldn't be a problem if the series of bad events would stop happening, but she is however moving into a new apartment and maybe her life can finally change for the better. What could go wrong? Her neighbor is the landlord, no trouble is bound to happen here since he's right next door. Things will be different this time...I hope.
