Maddie went missing on December 1, 2017. That was two weeks ago and now Annie, Maddie's best friend, is completely terrified. Annie has no one to talk to about her situation-not even her parents- and nobody has acknowledged the fact that Maddie's even missing. Annie can recall a figure saying, "Watch, she's probably on vacation and just wanted to get away with nobody knowing, I just know it."
Then, another voice said, "She probably got the flu and can't even function. You're overacting, Maddie."
Those were just rumors, though. Maddie is Annie's best friend, Annie knows every little thing about her. From her facial and physical appearance to her favorite color and her personality. Maddie wouldn't just go on 'vacation' without telling her first. Plus, who goes on vacation without their family members, or more importantly; her parents? Maddie doesn't even know how airports work, so she couldn't even get on a plane by herself, or even leave the country! Who knew a single note from Annie's missing best friend could change everything.
