I ran as fast as I could. The human hunters found me. They found me by a fire, that I HAD to build to keep myself and my stuffie Danny, to keep warm. It was zero below and here I am running without shoes or a coat. I was shivering as I ran. My heart pounding. I won't be some vampires pet, baby or whatever. I'm cold, scared and hungry. I won't stop no matter what. Suddenly a bat appears in front of me. I don't know if it was a normal bat, or a vampire bat. I begin to whimper and run, but something grabs my arm and shoved a needle in my neck. "Don't worry little one. Your stuffie will be there when you awake." Was all he says as I pass out.

The blade of my hidden knife stops just a few centimetres from the prince's warm skin of his neck. He lays there, eyes closed and rhythmic breathing.
