"I'm not good enough for you..." I said as I backed away slowly, tears falling down my face. "What?" Josh replied kneeling down to me to try to help me up. "I'm. Not. Good. Enough. For. you." I said slowly as I slapped his hand off of me, tears still streaming down my face. "Yes, you are. Don't think like that. Everything is going to be ok." Josh said calmly. "GET AWAY FROM ME," I said while sobbing into my hands. ~~~ Madeline Joseph has had a hard life after her mom abused her, then left after her father died, and her best friend died from the fire. As Madeline struggles to put her life back together she meets Josh, a sweet and caring guy. Will they become more than friends? Will she ever figure out where her mother went? Will she be able to put her life back together? All rights reserved. I do not condone suicide or self-harm. This book is just for fun but it deals with some dark topics.

"When are you coming back?" I ask, my hands clenching. I'm almost positive they'll snap before he finally responds. "I won't be coming back," he says quietly. "This is the last time I get to see you." Then I broke. My eyes started watering. And before I knew what was happening, I was sobbing. Adam's hand gently goes up and down my arm. "I have to go, Emily." With that, he stands up and walks out of the room. This is it. My first love ever, is leaving me. For good this time. When Emily Jones is forced to spend the summer at her mother's, the last thing she expected was a tall, handsome to sweep her off her feet. More or less. But she wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Although he makes her feel like a princess, she knows it's bad news. Guys are just there to play with your feelings. Once they notice even the slightest bit off affection, they hold back. Never to be seen again. She finds herself looking for him everywhere. Wanting to be around him. But it has to change.
