"Come on, Louisse. Life's too short to play small," he said, offering his hand. "When are you going to take a leap of faith?"

I just stared at him like he's a madman. It's not what you're thinking. Hindi ako takot, I just don't trust him. But his eyes were testing me - testing my decisions. My choices were quite simple; turn away and be happy or take his hand and regret it later.

I was calculating the risk of the choices that I had but I was told that it was rude to keep others waiting, and of course, as the reckless idiot that I am, I took his hand.

I sighed, and I swear I saw him smile. Fuck it, what do I have to lose?
