As his father is dying, Prince Luka of Rusyah is sent out into the world to find himself a wife. With no idea where to go, Luka follows the directions of a mysterious woman that he sees only in his dreams. She guides Luka to a legendary castle said to be inhabited by the demon Kashchei. Under her instructions, he steals a priceless Firebird from Kashchei, although he doesn't understand how it will help him find a wife. But by doing so, Luka inadvertently starts a war he doesn't understand with an enemy he never thought was real for a cause he's not sure he believes in.
This is a retelling of The Firebird ballet.

Starlites are impossible to love. The human fell in love anyways. There is an age old story - some call it a myth, some believe it to be history. Nevertheless, the fact is that there exist three different species who look alike. First are the underwater dwellers - the nymphs. The myth says that they are cursed never to find love. The Guardians are a team of starlites who work for the humans. Neal is a manipulative, scheming human prince who offered the job to Sophia only because he is in love with her. When you search the term 'Fairy' what comes up? An image of a beautiful girl with glimmering wings appears on your screen. The words 'Mythical Creature' appear indicating that Fairies are not real. Those sites couldn't be more wrong. Fairies are real; they just don't live in our universe. Instead, they live in another Realm disconnected from our own. How do I know this? Well... I'm a fairy. Wow, can't believe I said that out loud and meant it... Anyway, after discovering our fairy powers, my twin and I were invited to attend school at Alfea to learn how to control our magic.
