He speaks as if he knows everything, he trips over his own tongue like the intelligent person he is. The lingering taste of vodka and whiskey taint his sinful chapped lips. When he walks he stumbles, he smells like nicotine and he's cold. Ice resides in his veins and heart but not even the hell like flames of hatred and anger burning within his mind can freeze over. She's sweet like honeysuckle. She's warm and physically beautiful with her long brown hair and different colored gaze. When she smiles, the entire world stops to look and stare at her. Yet underlying her forced smile and physical perfection, dwells the monster that is her mental illness that she cannot control. Being beautiful doesn't hide it either, only mass doses of prescription pills do. In which an 18-year-old who believes he hasn't much to live for leaves his small sleepy town in hopes of finding his mother who abandoned him years ago. The deeper she searches, the more disturbing the things she finds out about who she used to be. Can amnesia aid her in changing her disgusting reputation? Annabelle - Will To Survive
Annabelle Rose, a twenty one year old who is unable to face her past traumas and inherent mental suffering. Due to this, she turns to narcotics that allow her an escape so she can function as a "proper" member of society and continue to do her mind numbing job at the New York Times where she works as a journalist. She is overly pessimistic, anxious, impulsive, and depressed with recurrent suicidal thoughts due to said trauma and unfulfilling relationships and work life. Annabelle acts as an impression of so many of the youth's struggles with facing their issues while maintaining their status in our hyper-competitive society. This is my first public introduction of Annabelle Rose, the main protagonist of my "Will To" trilogy that is currently in the making.

Life has always been easy for Annabelle, coming from a rich family with a last name that every girl in Buffalo would kill for. However she still questions their fashionable lifestyle. After always wondering where she would be without the shortcuts in life, she decides to risk it all by hiding her last name; moving to Brooklyn and leaving Buffalo along with her journalist carrier behind her. She joins the homeless shelter under another name and decides to help people while living in fear of her secret being revealed. She takes even a greater risk of her secret being exposed when she meets Ezekiel who is a mystery of his own. Will his dark secrets be revealed making her want to return to her richfull life? Or will the journalist in her want to learn more about real reason of why he is staying at the shelter risking her own secret coming to light? Maybe the best way to hide the truth is to shelter your heart.Complete
